You can't import nor use any VST instruments or effects in Reason. You'll have to do with what you get in the box. The included effects and instruments are quality though. If you really want to use VST's, you'll have to ReWire Reason with another DAW, such as FL Studio or Cubase.

How about I tell you how to initialize a synth patch instead? That way you can start making your own patches and not be considered a noob by using nothing but presets.
Right click, initialize patch, then start synthesizing your own shit. Guess what? You're one step closer to being a pro now! WOOO!
